An open-banking platform handling sensitive financial data, running on a codebase that had stopped being able to change safely.

Rebuilding it meant getting security, roles and state right simultaneously — none of the three can be retrofitted.

Rebuilt from scratch in React and Next.js with server-side rendering and static generation where each route earned it.

Client state across a secure, multi-role banking dashboard is architected deliberately — Redux, MobX and Context API each doing the job it is actually good at, rather than one tool stretched across all of them.

A reusable, accessible component library carries the interface, built to WCAG rather than audited for it later.

End-to-end testing established with Jest, Playwright and React Testing Library measurably improved release stability — the platform became something that could ship on a schedule again.
